I am a Certified Belgian Hand Therapist (occupational therapist) and currently serve as Secretary of the Belgian Hand Therapists Association. My work sits at the intersection of clinical reasoning, craftsmanship, and innovation in upper-limb rehabilitation.

 I run Hand2Hand, a practice and workshop where we design and manufacture custom hand and arm orthoses in a wide range of materials, including low-temperature thermoplastics, 3D-printed polymers, silicone, and silver. Collaborating closely with surgeons, rheumatologists, physiotherapists, and patients has taught me that great splinting is as much about listening and empathy as it is about biomechanics and precision.

 Within the Association, I am committed to fostering collaboration, dialogue, and continuous professional development for hand therapists across Belgium and internationally. I strongly believe that sharing knowledge, questioning established routines, and embracing innovation are essential to improving care for people with hand and upper-limb conditions.

 Personally, I am energized by combining my professional passion with an active lifestyle. I enjoy running, rowing on my ergometer, and I love spending time in my vegetable garden with my family and our dog, Leo.
